After showing edge in the first weekend in competition with “Ranarangam”, Adivi Sesh starrer “Evaru” has continued its good run at the box office during the weekdays as well. The film earned a total collection of Rs 9.30 Cr worldwide in its first week.
The thriller collected an impressive figure of Rs 3 Cr from the Nizam area and another 4 Cr from Andhra and Ceded areas. The rest came from the USA, Australia and other metro cities in India. Overall, “Evaru”, which released on Independence Day, has successfully raked in the money despite clashing at the box office with Sharwanand’s gangster drama.
Produced by PVP Cinema, the film was made with a budget of Rs 9 Cr and it was sold to Rs 9.50 Cr. By the end of this weekend, all distributors will start seeing profits. It is a super hit movie.
This is the fourth hit for Adivi Sesh as a lead hero after “Kshanam”, “Ami Thumi”, and “Goodachari”. Based on a Spanish drama, “Evaru” starred Regina Cassandra and Naveen Chandra in the main lead roles and is directed by newcomer Venkat Ramji.
