With flops piling on, Gopichand has taken a wise decision of not burdening his producers. Known as the macho star, Gopichand once used to have a great market in AP and Telangana. His films used to fetch a good amount from Hindi dubbing rights. But now, his films are bombing in Telugu states and the Hindi dubbing market is shrinking.
It has now become unviable for producers to make films beyond Rs 15 Cr production cost with him. Understanding this situation, Gopichand has wisely come forwarded to not to take remuneration.
Gopichand will take a share in profits in the business done. He will not take a single paisa before the shooting gets completed. He is currently shooting for Sampath Nandi’s action thriller. Since the film also has Tamannaah in the lead role, he hopes that it would attract the buyers.
