All is not well on the sets of Varun Tej’s “Valmiki” that is progressing in Hyderabad. Grapevine has it that the film’s director Harish Shankar and producers Ram and Gopi are fighting over remuneration and money issues.
As per the earlier agreement, Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta have agreed to pay not any remuneration to Harish Shankar. They asked him to completed the film in a specified budget and take 50 percent of profits on the business. Harish Shankar is remaking Tamil hit movie “Jigarthanda” with Varun Tej and Atharva Murali with Pooja Hegde playing the female lead.
The film’s teaser got a good response. The thriller will hit the screens on September 13. With just a month for release, the producers have opened the business and they are dealing with various distributors. Trouble started when Harish Shankar ringing up distributors and interfering in the business deals. The producers got infuriated with him and now they are planning to take action against him.
