Lucifer remake is not for Pawan Kalyan

All the rumors bit the dust with Megastar Chiranjeevi vociferously denying that the remake of “Lucifer” would fall in the hands of Pawan Kalyan. Megastar Chiranjeevi clarified that he would be acting in the remake. The remake rights were bought for me starring in it, he said in an interview putting an end to speculations.

Pawan Kalyan’s slate

Megastar Chiranjeevi maintained that he would not hesitate to pass the film to his brother Pawan Kalyan if he shows interest in it. However, Pawan Kalyan has no time to take up another film at the present with multiple projects on the floors at various stages of production. He is already working simultaneously in “Vakeel Saab”, a remake of Bollywood blockbuster “Pink” and director Krish’s period drama.

Once “Vakeel Saab” gets released, Pawan Kalyan will take up director Harish Shankar’s movie.

What is Lucifer?

Chiranjeevi will move on to the remake of “Lucifer” after completing the shooting of “Acharya”. “Lucifer” is one of the all-time biggest hits ever in the Malayalam film industry. Starring Mohanlal in the titular character, the political drama was directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film was also released in Telugu in its dubbing form.

Bobby is one of the directors in consideration to helm the project in Telugu. The story will be altered to suit the image of Chiranjeevi and the nativity.

Ram Charan will produce it on the Konidela Productions banner.
