Mahesh Babu and the makers of his current movie were the first to fix a date for it in the next summer. To checkmate other big movies, the untitled Mahesh Babu’s 25th movie locked its release date as April 5, 2019. Fixing the date and announcing it officially ten months prior to the release has raised the eyebrows.
Reports say Mahesh Babu is under stress after the massive success of “Rangasthalam”. Ram Charan’s “Rangasthalam” went on to score more than Rs 125 Cr while his summer release “Bharat Ane Nenu” raked in around Rs 100 Cr. He is under pressure to score a massive blockbuster with this special film that is being directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju in association with Ashwini Dutt and PVP with estimated Rs 100 Cr budget.
This was the reason why producer Dil Raju announced the release date so early to avoid other biggies announce a date in the first week of April.
