All is not well between Nani and director Harish Shankar. On the public forum, both of them are wishing each other good luck about their respective movies “Gang Leader” and “Valmiki” but inside sources say they are miffed with each other.
Nani took a lot of time to announce the new release date of “Gang Leader” when it was clear that Prabhas’s “Saaho” has been pushed from August 15 to August 30. Nani dodged on to decide to change the release date of “Gang Leader”. But director Harish Shankar and hero Varun Tej were quick to respond. They have changed their release date from September 6 to September 13 as soon as “Saaho” announced August 30 as its new release date. “Valmiki” team was the first one to announce September 13 as its new date.
A week later, Nani tweeted that he’s changing the release date of “Gang Leader” as a mark of respect to Prabhas. He pushed his movie to September 13 directly competing with “Valmiki”.
Harish Shankar wished Nani good luck and hoped that both movies should click. Nani too wished the same. But Harish has become aggressive in promoting the film. He is releasing the movie’s teaser on August 15th. He is also planning a series of promotional events to take head-on Nani’s “Gang Leader”.
