Rebel Star Prabhas returns to the big screen after a long gap of two years. Due to his long absence and that too in a modern avatar (Mirchi came way back in 2013), the onscreen presence is appealing. Unfortunately, that happens to the best part.

A Grandiose takeoff in Waaji City greets Saaho audience. After that introduction , a parallel story at India begins on dull note. Right from the mighty hero Prabhas’s lukewarm entry scene , by one hour into the movie can smell the things are not in right place. An undercover cop investigating a high profile case gives ample scope to thrills and excitement but sadly except the good twist

The much awaited, multilingual, heavy budget Saaho is here and hours after watching one of the very first screenings of the action thriller in Dubai on Thursday night, we are still reeling. Not so much from the awe inducing action sequences, the uber cool car chases or the sheer swagger of lead star Prabhas.

A man uses an arsenal of weapons to battle a gang of bad guys in the city. With the city under fire and the lives of the people at risk, the one man has to give everything he has got to take the city back and defect the bad guys.
